How it started..
Moseley Equestrian is based at Ferry Lane Farm in Collingham (Newark) the home of International Show-jumpers Daniel & Rebecca Moseley and their children Freddie (5) & William (2). From home they run a busy Show Jumping stables focusing on Training, Competition & Sales.
Created by Daniel & his wife Rebecca Roe back in 2013, they both share the passion for horses, and have sold horses all over the world across the last 11 Years. Training & Competing horses from youngster through to grand prix level. Daniel has a vast amount of experience & knowledge, learning a lot of his trade whilst working for William & Pippa Funnell at the Billy Stud, where he spent 5 years competing Nationally & Internationally on a range of different horses producing them though the age classes to Grand Prix level. They both work hard as a welcoming team and use both of their individual strengths to make their business the success it is today. Whilst Daniel concentrates on the riding/training side of things & horse sales, Rebecca overlooks the staff, accounts, and the up-and-coming diary, whether its owners visiting or booking in clients for training. Moseley Equestrian has progressed over the years with a strong group of horses & people amongst their team. The business has sold many talented horses to well-known professionals & all different types of riders across Show jumping & Eventing disciplines. Daniel & Rebecca also enjoy working with pupils some of which are based with them at their stables, watching them grow as riders & people to achieve their future goals. |
Rebecca MoseleyRebecca (ROE) is also a big part of Moseley Equestrian with her experience in Pony & Juniors competitions & general horse knowledge helping to run the business.
She previously won a European Gold Pony medal back in 2006 at Samaur (France) on the great pony Aroldo who she produced through to JA level. She had a very successful Pony & Junior career representing her country in both age groups winning many Grand Prix Nationally & Internationally. She was also a member of the John Whitaker International Pony Squad 2006 & 2007 and was also selected for the Tretorn Young Riders Squad in 2009 & jumped on a Junior Nations Cup Team in Grobbendonk with her horse Retreats Uppercut the same year. Shortly after that she was forced to stop riding for a few of years to become self employed after a bad injury to her leg. She is now back competing some of the horses at Moseley Equestrian but is mainly on the business side of things and leaves the winning to Daniel. In 2015 she qualified her Ringo R for the Newcomers Second Round & Foxhunter Second Round Finals at the same show in one weekend at Bicton Arena, which was a fantastic result! |
